World Military Games: Armenia wrestlers win 2 medals

YEREVAN. – Armenia already has two medals at the 2015 World Military Games being held in Mungyeong, South Korea.

Accordingly, former world champion Karen Aslanyan (66kg) became a silver medalist while Sargis Kocharyan (80kg) won a bronze medal in the Greco-Roman wrestling competitions.

A total of 8,700 athletes from 110 countries are competing in this year’s World Military Games.

Armenia, which is participating in this event for the first time, is competing with fifteen athletes, informed the National Olympic Committee of Armenia website.
