Norayr Avetisyan (Armenia) won a bronze medal at the Junior and U23 European Weightlifting Championships that are held in Klaipėda, Lithuania.
Avetisyan lifted a combined weight of 315kg in the U20 77kg competition.
This is Armenia’s fourth medal in Klaipėda. On the first day of competitions, Smbat Margaryan became a silver medalist in the U23 56kg event while Marzpet Minasyan came in third in the U20 56kg competition, and on Tuesday, Izabella Yaylyan was crowned European U20 58kg champion.
