Sinquefield Cup: Armenia’s Aronian leads tournament

Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian (Armenia) defeated GM Hikaru Nakamura (USA) in Sunday’s Round 7 at the 2015 Sinquefield Cup chess super tournament, which is held in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.

As a result, Armenia’s top GM has amassed 5 points and is the current leader of the tournament. 

In Monday’s Round 8, Aronian will face former World Champion, GM Viswanathan Anand (India).
