Arman Darchinyan becomes bronze medalist in Russia

Arman Darchinyan (Armenia) won a bronze medal at the International Kadyrov Memorial Boxing Tournament that was held in Grozny, Russia.

Armenia’s reining champion fought with confidence in the 69kg competition, and he could have won either a silver or a gold medal, instead.

In Darchinyan’s semifinal bout against the Kazakh boxer, the ringside judges gave equal points to both athletes.

As a result, the final decision was left to the computer, and it selected the Kazakh boxer, informed the Boxing Federation of Armenia.
