Chelsea punish racist fan

Chelsea F.C. have banned their fan Richard Barklie from attending the London football club’s home games for five years, reported Sky Sports.

Barklie, a former police officer, was punished for racist conduct.

Richard Barklie and three other Chelsea supporters were accused of chanting “we’re racist, we’re racist, and that’s the way we like it” as a black man was pushed off a Paris Metro service he was attempting to board.

The incident had occurred in February, on the night of Chelsea’s 1-1 draw at Paris Saint-Germain, in the second round of the Champions League.
