Argentine football legend Diego Maradona will run in the election for the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) President, reported 10ahora.com.ar.
Even though 79-year old Joseph “Sepp” Blatter was recently elected FIFA President for a fifth term, several days later he announced his plans to leave the organization.
The FIFA President snap election is slated for December 16.
