FC Spartak Moscow (Russia) Forward Yura Movsisyan has been invited to the Armenian national football squad for the latter’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Portugal, reported the Spartak website.
Due to an injury, Movsisyan had missed out the last two Russian Premier League matches, and he was not put on the list of the twelve players who play abroad and who were called to the national team of Armenia.
The national squad medical staff will determine whether or not Movsisyan will be able to play against Portugal.
Midfielder Aras Ozbiliz, who recently returned to the pitch after a long absence due to a serious injury, also will join the Armenian national team from Spartak Moscow.
The Armenia-Portugal match is slated for June 13 in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia.
