Blatter says problems stem from vote on Russia and Qatar

FIFA President Joseph Blatter called to help FIFA to return to the right track so that the ship could reach the shore.

In his speech to delegates who prepared to vote for the next president, Blatter said the recent events should not affect reputation of the organization, because FIFA is not only the arrested officials, Mirror reported.

Blatter is confident that the recent problems stem from decision to award Russia and Qatar the next two World Cup tournaments.

The elections are of FIFA president are being held on Friday, but the final results will be made public during a press conference on Saturday.

The sole opponent of Blatter is Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan.
