YEREVAN. – Armenian International Master (IM) Mikael Agopov has been crowned the 2015 chess champion of Finland.
Agopov garnered a total of 9 points out of 10 at the country’s championship that was held in Kalajoki.
The Armenian chess master ended the competition 2 points ahead of his nearest challenger, IM Sampsa Nyysti, reported Armchess.
