Armenian chess masters compete in Dubai

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s GM Tigran L. Petrosian and IM Tigran Harutyunian each scored 6, IM Manuel Petrosian, GM Hovik Hayrapetyan and IM Vahe Baghdasaryan each tallied 5.5, and WFM Maria Gevorgyan garnered 4.5 points out of 9 at the chess open that was held in Dubai, UAE.

The winner, with 7 points, was GM Dragan Solak (Turkey), who was ahead of five other grandmasters by the tie-break, Armchess reported.
