Alashkert FC (Yerevan) played host to FC Pyunik (Yerevan) in Saturday’s Week 17 match in the current season of Armenian Premier League football, but they were defeated 1-0.
Pyunik Midfielder Zaven Badoyan, who has transferred from FC Gomel (Belarus), scored the game’s only goal in the 65th minute.
As a result, Pyunik are now second in the overall standings with 36 points, and they trail current leaders Ulisses FC (Yerevan) by one point.
