The individual European Championship of chess is in progress in the Israeli capital city of Jerusalem.
Armenia’s representatives Karen Grigoryan, Robert Hovhannisyan, Gabriel Sargissian, Samvel Ter-Sahakyan, and Vladimir Pogosian have achieved victories in the fifth round.
Sargissian has tallied 4 points so far, and he trails current leader Anton Korobov (Ukraine) by half a point.
The European Championship will end on Sunday.
