Manchester City F.C. (England) are reportedly preparing a world-record bid for Portugal national football squad captain and FC Real Madrid (Spain) striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Sportsmole reported.
City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain revealed that he is constantly in touch with Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes.
“I can ask him every day about Cristiano.
“Jorge works until late and during the transfer window he doesn’t stop,” Begiristain stated.
City reportedly had a £134m bid for Ronaldo rejected two years ago, but this has not put off the reigning Premier League champions from upping their previous offer
