Francesco Totti gets 5 votes in Italy presidential election

A.S. Roma (Italy) captain and former Italy national football squad member Francesco Totti has received five votes in the presidential elections in Italy, Sportmediaset reported. In Italy, the two houses of parliament and representatives of the twenty provinces elect the country’s president.

Accordingly, five MPs voted for 38-year-old Totti. But you need to be over 50 years old to become the President of Italy. For that reason, the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Laura Boldrini, declared those ballots invalid.
