The Italian Football Federation has recognized Italy international and Juventus midfielder Andrea Pirlo as the Italian Serie A 2014 Player of the Year This is the third time that the 34-year-old footballer has received this accolade.
In turn, Juventus, which defended their title as the Italian champions, were recognized Italy’s 2014 Team of the Year, and national squad manager Antonio Conte was recognized the country’s 2014 Coach of the Year.
In addition, the Serie A “dream team” of the year was announced, Gazzetta dello Sport reported.
