Armenia national football squad and FC Volga Nizhny Novgorod forward Arthur Sarkisov shared his impressions following his club’s Russian National Football League win against FC Tosno.
To note, Sarkisov scored a goal and provided an assist in this match.
“I’m glad to have contributed to the victory. The guys did everything so that I would come out alone against the [opponent’s] goalkeeper. I came out and tried to score; it’s good that it worked out.
“Despite the cold weather, there were quite a lot of fans in the stadium; we were playing for them,” Volga official website quoted Sarkisov as saying.
Volga defeated Tosno at home by a score of 3-1, and the Armenia international was in his club’s starting lineup and he played the entire match.
