YEREVAN. – Armenia has won two bronze medals at the 2014 EUBC European Confederation Youth Boxing Championships, which are held in the Croatian capital city of Zagreb. Alen Danielyan faced a Russian opponent in the semifinals of the 49 kg category. Even though the Armenian athlete had a very successful bout, the judges awarded the win to the Russian boxer.
Seryoja Hakobyan (91 kg) also was defeated, despite a fierce fight in the semifinals of his weight category, to the representative of Ukraine, informed the Boxing Federation of Armenia press service.
