France national football squad and Olympique de Marseille (France) striker André-Pierre Gignac spoke about Les Bleus’ convincing victory against Armenia on Tuesday’s friendly.
“Armenia had left a good impression in the match against Serbia, and we knew that it will not be an easy ride in [Armenia’s capital city] Yerevan.
“That’s why we were concentrated in the match and we took a deserved win,” the European Football Associations (UEFA) official website quoted Gignac as saying.
France defeated Armenia by a score of 3-0, and the French international scored a goal and provided two assists for his national team.
