Antonio Conte has become first Italy national football squad manager to win the first four games since 1987, OptaPaolo has tweeted. The previous such achievement was accomplished by Azeglio Vicini, who coached the Azzurri from 1986 to 1991.
Under Conte’s headship, Italy have defeated The Netherlands in a friendly and beaten Norway, Azerbaijan, and Malta in the Euro 2016 Qualifiers.
