Arsen Julfalakyan: Now my sole wish is to win Olympic gold

TASHKENT. – Greco-Roman wrestling world champion Arsen Julfalakyan thanked the fans and Armenian people for their support.

“It is unbelievable. I have been waiting for this victory for a long time. I was 100 percent focused on the match. I first of all want to thank God, my mom, my wife, family and my father, the Ministry of Sport and National Olympic Committee and all my friends,” he told Armenia's public television after his stunning victory in Tashkent.

“This victory was the goal of my life. I want to thank all Armenians who are happy for my victory. My sole wish now is to win Olympic gold,” he said.

Arsen Julfalakyan (75 kg) won world champion's title defeating Neven Žugaj from Croatia.
