The Russian national football team manager Fabio Capello is planning on severing his contract with the Football Union of Russia (RFS), if he is not paid his salary debt by October 1, Gazeta.ru reported.
Vitaly Mutko, the Minister of Sport, Tourism and Youth policy of Russia, had confirmed that the Italian specialist had not received salary for three months.
RFS President Nikolai Tolstykh, for his part, had apologized to Capello and promised to resolve the matter.
The Russian national team’s coaching and administrative staffs likewise have not received salaries.
