Sinquefield Cup: Aronian draws with Nakamura

Grandmaster (GM) Levon Aronian faced GM Hikaru Nakamura (USA) in Tuesday’s Round 6 at the Sinquefield Cup chess tournament which is held in Saint Louis, USA. In the end, Aronian—who is second in the World Chess Federation (FIDE) rankings and who plays first board for the three-time World Chess Olympiad champions and the former World Team Chess champions Armenia—played a draw with the American GM in the 44th move. The two chess masters had drew level also in their previous match in this tournament. 

After the sixth round, GM Fabiano Caruana (Italy) continues to lead the event with a perfect record. Levon Aronian, on the other hand, has tallied 2 points so far and he is at the bottom of the current standings, together with Hikaru Nakamura.
