Freestyle wrestler Vaghinak Matevosyan (Armenia) placed third at the 2nd Summer Youth Olympic Games which are wrapping up in Nanjing, China.
Matevosyan defeated Ebrahim Abdullah Al-Shebami (Yemen) in the Men’s 54 kg Bronze Medal match on Wednesday, as he beat his opponent ahead of the allowed time limit.
This is Armenia’s sixth medal in Nanjing. Earlier, Armenia’s athletes had won two gold and silver medals, each, and one bronze medal.
