Artur Miranyan to join Armenia national squad

FC Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine) midfielder Artur Miranyan has been given the chance to play under the Armenian flag.

Miranyan had expressed a wish to join the national squads of Armenia, and submitted a respective petition to the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).

The midfielder has played for the Ukraine U19 and U17 national teams.

FIFA approved Miranyan’s petition allowing him to play for the Armenian national squads.

Armenia national football team manager Bernard Challandes already has sent an invitation to Artur Miranyan, who is currently in Macedonia and is preparing to sign a deal with FK Vardar Skopje, informed the Football Federation of Armenia website.
