Armenia national football squad candidate and FC Gomel midfielder Zaven Badoyan shared his impressions after scoring his club’s game-winning goal against FC Minsk in the 21st round of the current season in the Belarusian Premier League.
“We [Gomel] already are in the top six, and this was our main task. We see that the third place is not so far away, and we’ll fight for it. What’s important is to work and work,” the Gomel official website quoted the 24-year-old Armenian footballer as saying.
Zaven Badoyan netted the goal in the 59th minute of the game.
FC Gomel are currently fifth, with 31 points, after the 21st round in the Belarusian Premier League.
