Portugal national football squad captain and FC Real Madrid striker Cristiano Ronaldo has asked Argentine international and Real attacker Ángel Di María not to leave the Spanish club, El Confidencial reported.
The 29-year-old player is confident that the midfielder is very important for Real, and he does not want for the club to weaken.
Di María, 26, on the other hand, wants to part ways with the Spanish giants because he has strained relations with the club management.
In the previous season of the Spanish La Liga, Ángel Di María scored four goals and provided seventeen assists in 34 appearances for Real Madrid.
