Iran national football squad and Esteghlal F.C. (Iran) midfielder Andranik Teymourian has extended his contract with the Iranian club, the latter’s official website informed.
Accordingly, the 31-year-old Iranian-Armenian player’s contract with Esteghlal will run until 2016.
Teymourian played in the Iranian national team that competed in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The squad, however, could not pass the group phase, as Argentina and Nigeria had advanced to the playoffs from their group.
Armenia national team defender Hrayr Mkoyan also has signed a two-year deal with the Iranian club.
