We expect Mkhitaryan to show potential more often and steadily – BVB

Fluctuations in Mkhitaryan’s game were expected for me, said Borussia Dortmund (BVB; Germany) Sporting Director Michael Zorc.

Zorc also stated that next season he expects a more stable performance from Armenia national football squad and BVB midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

“As part of [FC] Shakhtar [Donetsk; Ukraine], he didn’t need to play with a 100-percent capacity in all the games. The [German] Bundesliga, however, is not the Ukrainian [Premier] League, and everything is different here.

“We expect Henrikh to show his enormous potential—which we have seen in numerous matches—more often and steadily,” Ruhr Nachrichten quoted Zorc as saying.

As part of Dortmund, the 25-year-old Armenia international is preparing for the next season.
