Ozbiliz will return to pitch in 8-9 months – Spartak Moscow

FC Spartak Moscow (Russia) Sports Director Roman Askhabadze spoke about the recovery process of Armenia national football squad and Spartak forward Yura Movsisyan and midfielder Aras Ozbiliz, Sport Express reported.

Both players are recovering from knee surgery.

“Movsisyan’s recovery phase is held at the [Spartak] sports facility; he is performing the entire necessary procedures. I hope that everything will be fine. According to the surgeon who performed the operation, the situation is not as complicated as it could have been. He [Movsisyan] needs to get into athletic shape and return to the squad in two months. [But] everything depends solely on Movsisyan. [And] we will create all the [necessary] conditions.   

“[But] it would be a lie saying that everything is fine for Ozbiliz. Aras is very sad because of the injury; he wanted to be included more in the core team, to show himself. Sadly, no one is immune of injuries in football. Ozbiliz is recovering, but I don’t think that we will see him this season. He will return to the pitch in eight-nine months,” Askhabadze specifically said.
