Rising eight spots, the Armenian national squad are 33rd in the new International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) World Ranking.
Although the team did not play any games since the previous ranking, their points jumped from 710 to 750.
The squad’s former 30th ranking was record-breaking for Armenia.
There are no changes in the top two. Reining world and European champions Spain are ranked No. 1, and they are followed by Germany. But Armenia’s Euro 2016 qualifying round opponents Portugal have jumped to third place.
