Badoyan breaks off contract with Belarus club

Armenia national football squad candidate Zaven Badoyan on Friday broke off his contract with FC BATE Borisov (Belarus), and on mutual agreement, the club official website reported.

The 24-year-old midfielder had moved to BATE in 2011, but he could not find himself a permanent spot in the team’s starting eleven.

While at BATE Borisov, Badoyan scored one goal and provided one assist in seventeen games for the club.

On March 14, he joined FC Gomel (Belarus).

The midfielder, who has made four appearances for the Armenian national team, had transferred to BATE Borisov from F.C. Impulse of Armenia’s Dilijan city.
