Isner hits ball girl with 231km/h serve

American tennis player John Isner is known for his powerful serve. But, he hit someone with a big serve yet again in his career.

During his second round clash with Lukas Lacko (Slovakia), at the Heineken Open 2014 in Auckland, New Zealand, Isner delivered a 231km/h serve that went on to hit a 13-year-old ball girl right below her shoulder, TennisWorld reports.

“Luckily for me she was as tough as nails out there and she didn’t flinch and she dealt with it fine, because that was a huge serve.

“I went up to her and said ‘I’m sorry’ and she said ‘no, it was a good serve.’

“I don’t think I’ve seriously hurt anyone yet,” the 28-year-old American tennis player said afterwards.
