Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova, who is currently ranked World No. 2 in women’s singles, is in third place in the list of the world’s richest female tennis players.
According to Forbes business magazine, the 25-year-old Russian athlete’s wealth is estimated at $25.1 million.
In line with the aforesaid list, American tennis star Serena Williams, who is ranked World No. 1, is the richest female tennis player, with $43.2 million, and she is followed by her sister, former World No. 1 Venus Williams, whose wealth is estimated at $28.6 million.
