Former Romanian artistic gymnast Florica (Floarea) Leonida, who is a 2003 silver world medalist and a silver European medalist with the team, has become a prostitute after retiring from sports, Florica’s former teammate Monica Roşu stated during a Romanian television show.
Twenty-five-year-old Florica, who currently lives in Germany, offers escort services by way of German websites. After leaving her home country, Florica Leonida worked as a fitness trainer for some time, sportal.bg informs.
To note, Leonida was a successful junior gymnast winning gold on beam and three silver medals—all around, floor and team—at the 2002 Junior European Championships.
